I beloved making little personalized gifts that cost next to zero, especially when it's as versatile as post-it notes.

I mean, everyone uses post-information technology notes. Even my kids dear having them effectually to exercise random doodles hither and there.

Every bit I was designing these, it occurred to me they're kind of like all the card's I've designed. And then then I decided to repurpose some of my menu designs that I thought would practice well in this foursquare card-like configuration.

What exercise you think? Well, I think they're pretty darn cute.

Materials for DIY Viscid Annotation Dispensers

Cardstock – As you can meet, I used a multifariousness of different colored cardstock I had effectually. Here are some of my favorite brands:

  • Assorted Starter Pack – Basic contrasted colors, great starter pack, perfect weight for most papercraft projects
  • Cricut Joy Insert Bill of fare Packs – You don't have to utilize these with the Cricut Joy, they are overnice textile kids for cardmaking.
  • Cardstock Warehouse Brand on Amazon – I love the quality of all the matte-colored cardstock with Cardstock Warehouse. It is my go-to brand for individual matte colors that I might need
  • Poptone Assorted Variety Pack – This is the perfect peppy assortment of colors of heavy cardstock. It's a heavy cardstock assortment with colors I actually employ oft for cardmaking.
  • Seasonal Contrasted Variety Pack – This is a slight variation on the Poptone assortment and has a quite few neutrals that complement almost any emphasis color.
  • Stardream Metallics Line – For paper crafts, the Stardream line is the go-to for a metallic shimmer cease. It is the perfect sheen to make any project pop. The cadre is likewise colored is which difficult to find for metal paper.

Mucilage – I have a few favorites for cardmaking, the key is to use glue that minimizes paper warping.

  • Scotch Adhesive Roller Dispenser
  • Rubber Cement
  • Mucilage Pen
  • Art Glitter Mucilage
  • Cream Tape

Post it notes – I guess this is pretty obvious. I love this limited colors edition set, there are so many pretty colors in there.

Mail information technology note holder template – Templates for all 3 are pictured above are bachelor for costless in both printable and SVG formats. These are bachelor in my resources library.

Tips on assembling post it annotation covers

Step one: Cutting out all your cardstock from the templates

Step 2: Score and fold the embrace base

I added some score lines in with my template set but you will have to manually set those lines to "scoring" if you are using the Cricut to brand the cards.

I personally hate scoring with the Cricut and so I but exercise it by hand with a ruler and a scraper.

Footstep 3: Glue the crease downwardly to the base of the cover

I similar to simply add together a little glue in the pucker and then hold information technology downward in places for a few seconds. I sometimes will utilize a paper prune if I'one thousand really impatient.

Step 4: Add the post-its

Accept the base paper off from the postal service-it notepad and stick it on the inside of the cover.

Step iv: Add the boosted floral layers

I like curling the elevation most layer of petals but that's totally upwardly to y'all.

Simply gum the layers together and you're done.
